Why not offering individual courses?
It can be hard to help one single individual at an affordable cost. At the moment, we have not found the right formula to help someone absorb the technique, practice by him/herself, be accountable, and make sure that they can benefit fully from the learning.
We will soon release the Elearning version of the course as part of a package at 299 euros, including templates, but we are still trying different versions to make sure an individual can benefit as much as possible from that version. If you want to suggest ways of doing this better, do not hesitate to book a call with us here: https://calendly.com/curseofknowledge/15min
I’m not sure to understand what I will learn?
You learn a technique to turn complex information into an appealing story.
This story can be 3 minutes long, or it can be 90 minutes long, it does not matter, as long as it is logically structured according to our template.
By turning complex information into a story, you help a non-specialists (manager, client, journalist, colleague), understand this information faster, better and without confusion.
This directly generate trust in your skills and might convince them to work more with you, or use the results of your work.
The method you are learning to create a story, can directly be applied to over 15 tools of communication. These tools are what you will share with an external audience.
For instance, you might turn your story into an email, and send it to your manager. Or turn your story into a 12 slides Powerpoint presentation for a meeting.
Or you might even decide to turn your story into a 3 minutes video to share to all stakeholders.
In all cases it will be the same story, and you will be able to use it on all these tools.
I don’t have to communicate to the public, should I learn this?
You certainly don’t realise it, but you communicate every single day. Whether it is by email, in weekly meetings, or on the phone.
If you engage with colleagues who do not work on the same topic than you, or a manager who has to follow more than 2 projects at the same time - you are certainly Cursed by your own Knowledge.
You might confuse them without noticing, and this in turn adds complexity to your work later. You might not receive the support you are looking for, or the resources you need.
You might have the impression that few people care about your work, or that the people you interact with are giving the wrong feedback.
The worst that can happen is that these people give you opinions that derail your plans, especially if these opinions are not technical, and a little irrational.
Well, these are good reasons enough to learn another method to help these people understand what you do, convince them of your skills and competence, and build trust in your decisions.
And it all starts with the “Curse of Knowledge System”
